Stay in a Cob Cabin
Ever wondered what it would be like to spend an evening in an earthen house? Here is a great opportunity to find out. This cob cabin is available for rent by the weekend, week or month. It is unique and was built by Patrick Hennebery and a Cobworks crew on Mayne Island, B.C. The island is located midway between Vancouver and Victoria and is accessible from either city by B.C. Ferries.

Cobworks Cob Cottage
A small rustic cob cabin is available for rent by the night or week. There is a 2 night minimum and the cost is $80 per night or $400 per week. It is fully self-contained with water, kitchen, cooking facilities, queen size bed and single day bed and,of course, a fireplace. Pat's original cob cabin is 240 sq.ft. and is fully self contained with a queen size bed and a large day bed. The kitchen has a propane top stove with pots, pans and dishes. All bedding and linen is provided. There is running cold water at the kitchen sink as well as a wood stove and fireplace. The toilet is outdoor and composting with a spring fed wood fired shower. The price is $80 per night with a 2 night minimum. There is no electricity at this cabin.

Pender Island
ARTWOOD COTTAGE ON SOUTH PENDER ISLAND - The cottage is NOT made of cob. It is a thoughtfully renovated artist studio using reclaimed wood and lots of love. This comfortable eco-friendly cottage is located on Tracy's land in a peaceful forest setting. It is private and fully contained. It has a kitchen,bathroom,loft and spacious living area with a wood stove. Sleeps 2 to 4 people. 100$ per night.
Your stay at the cottage will be made even more memorable by touring the two beautiful strawbale buildings on the property. You are invited to visit the large Art studio and Tracy's house.
